Really, I have set this up for use to help with lymphedema. Then have waited for my healthy steps dvd. Meanwhile, have only used twice and it feels a little tight for now but I assume the more it is used it will loosen up. Had to realize not to really jump, just bounce. That is really the trick.

I have been using a Urban Rebounder for about seven years. I am 79 years old and the main reason I use it is to keep my Lymph Glands clean as well for general health. It is easy while watching T V. The reason I purchased my second one is for my office as I come to work at school as early as 5:00 A M and can use it during the day. I have told other people about the Urban Rebounder.

This is my first trampoline and after doing extensive research, found this one to be one of the top rated. Very easy to set up and not noisey like some reviews noted. Seems a little stiff at first but expect that will get better the more it is used.

I park my trampoline in front of my TV and bounce while I watch a 30 minute show. I can feel my muscles tighten up immediately.
The springs are super quiet, the assembly was ridiculously easy, and it was a higher quality than I anticipated. The legs fold down and I lean it against the wall in its full circular mode. When it is folded down further, it is easy to bring anywhere.
I have never enjoyed exercising, so the fun factor is pretty vital if I want to add something to my daily routine. I'm confident I've found my answer. Eureka!

This product is excellent for maintaining a strong lower body and for core strength, as well. I use it as time is available, a minute here, 5 minutes there etc. Trying to use good sense as to saftey and never overdoing it. This trampoline appears very sturdy and is excellent for larger people. Personally, I bounce on the apparatus and do not jump, over saftey concerns. I find it extraordinarily useful and keep it open in a safe place.

We bought this trampoline for our rambunctious 2 year old. Our concern was that it is meant for adults that she would not reach the handle or get enough bounce but we have had NO PROBLEMS and she loves it! The hope is that since it is meant for adults up to 300lbs it will last us a very long time. Plus, my 6'4", 210lb husband has been coaxed on it a few times and he can actually jump with our daughter!

Excellent product, but it has a strong odor of rubber and if you set it up on carpet, the feet will leave black marks. The odor has waned, but still detectable. I weigh about 210lbs and no problem with the rebounder supporting my weight.

I heard that rebounding is good for the lymphatic system, and that is the main reason I purchased it. It's for our whole family to use for general fitness and health maintenance. My two sons have heart arythmias, and I'm hoping it will help in that area. My friend wrote me about the many benefits of using a trampoline and told me she was happy with the urban rebounder. So I was convinced[...]So far I am finding it to be an enjoyable way to exercise, but I need to take time to watch the DVD's that came with it. For one thing, I need to be sure to avoid injuries by improper use. I thought my purchase included a $25 discount from the manufacturer, put it was not included in the box--perhaps that is why I got two instead of just one DVD. Overall I am happy that I got a mini-trampoline.

I love using the mini trampoline. It's convenient, fun, no weather issues, low impact, a great and versatile workout, and I can watch the news at the same time as I exercise, which is rime saving! I love that it folds away without having to unscrew the legs each time, too.
Unfortunately, it sat in a Fed Ex warehouse, nearby, for almost a week. According to Fed Ex, that was due to bad weather. When it was delivered, it was dropped off at my neighbor's house, even though I was home and my neighbor was not! It was inconvenient to have to pick it up, when it was supposed to be delivered to me. It would have been nice for them to check the address before dropping it at an empty house, when I live right across the street. I am on Mapquest and no other delivery service has had trouble finding me during the 30 years that I have lived here. None of this was Merchantila's fault, except for using Fed Ex for their delivery service.

when i called customer service to inquire about the size i asked for the dimensions of the actual jumping area. I was told 40 inches. The actual jumping area is 27.5 inches. 40" includes the area where the springs hook into the frame and are not part of where you jump. As far as its use...I was surprised because it really does make me breathe hard which is good for a cardio workout.

I always hesitated buying a trampoline that folds up thinking it wouldn't be safe but I was wrong. The hinges face the floor so there's no way it could ever pop out of place. Also, this trampoline has much sturdier springs than ones I've bought before giving it a bouncier jump. This is a high quality piece of equipment.

My husband and I exercise daily for about an hour. We have had this mini trampoline for about 5 days, and the legs are already getting wobbly and the stitching is beginning to give way. We like the trampoline so far, but are concerned it won't last long. Pros: It's easy to use, and the surface area is good. It's not too noisy, and it is much lighter than I expected. We hope it's more durable than we think!

It gives our 5-yr old grandson and granddaughter a place to spend his energy during bad-weather days. Also, parents can do workouts on it for good health. Gift was from the grandparents to grandson. The trampoline will be used quite often by the whole family.The return privilege was extended to Jan 15,2011 so if it is in good shape then it will be a keeper.

Looks nice for in house use and folds to get it out of the way. If you are older as I am the folding is not real easy but not impossible. Handle is easy to remove and place back as needed. Spring system is better quality and quieter overall, but not as tight as my other tramploine.
I bought a 40 inch trampoline about 2 years ago that is still on this site. IT was fun and easier to keep my balance while using, mostly because the bouncing/foot area was larger.
This rebounder has a much smaller canvas area and is therefore harder to use. The handle is just enough over the surface that it seems to be in the way and slightly reduces bouncing area,and somewhat the ease of use as well. (I don't have to hold on to a bar.) IF you need the bar it is good to have but I removed it to get more "open" surface area to bounce/balance on.
Not a bad product but not as good as others for my needs. It depends on how and what you need to use on the trampoline. If you need to constantly hold onto a bar then it would be good for you.

I bought this for my 14 year old son who has mild autism. He's tall but only 120 pounds, and after only a few weeks, some of the springs have already broken. The trampoline was very easy to assemble, and if I can get replacement springs at a reasonable price, I will continue to use it for my son.

Bought this for gift but had my husband set it up first. Only complaint is the holes did not match up with pegs for the bar so he had to drill them out. If you did not have the equipment or knowledge to do that you would be stuck and have to send it back. Other than that issue I think it is great & think my grandkids will love it.

Only one con: requires strength to fold for storage.
Many pros: my 1 and 2 yr. old kids get on it throughout the day. The older child obviously goes longer than the younger. But they both fit on it at once, although by themselves there is more space. The 2 yr. old recently learned to twist his torso mid-jump from left to right. Before he would only jump up. GREAT energy outlet for the children. I only used it while playing with the kids, (it's at my parents' who watch them, by the way, this purchase was a gift for the neighbor's 5 yr. old) and definitely felt it in my legs. With the accompanying workouts I am sure it is highly effective. AND FUN!!!

i am very satisfied with the rebounder but the handle/brace legs to the legs of rebounder, where they attach at the top by the bent section seemed to big to insert. had to forcibly in insert to assemble. the rebounder was as advertised.only brace/handle diffcult to assemble. excellent unit otherwise. thank you

I really enjoy exercising on the rebounder. My husband doubted that it would be a workout but now he realizes it is when he sees me break a sweat. The beginners workout video is good but I can't wait to do the Advanced workout. That one looks like more fun. The stabilizing bar wiggles alot but having it still provides enough support and helps keep you balanced.

The product came in just a few days from my ordering it. The set up was very easy. However, I didn't use the support bar so I don't know if that is easy or hard to set up. It's not too noisey when I jump on it, but it's not quiet either. I haven't jumped on any other product so I'm not sure how this one compares. I do like it, and feel it is a good work out.

I use the rebounder every day to strengthen my entire body, and to lose weight, and to lower my blood pressure. I have had other rebounders, and I really like this one. Only got it last week, but it seems like a good one. The bar is only for balance, but that is all I use it for. When I get better, I won't need the bar. Will have to lubricate it with something like dry lube, as it is noisy when I am bouncing. Minor detail. As others have said, it is very hard to open, but I already knew that, and my son opened it by sheer force, and standing on one side and forcing the other side down. I plan to keep it open. Even if it was easy to fold and unfold, I would still keep it open. You can put it up against a wall if you want to put it out of the way.

I love the trampoline. I have Rhuematoid Artritis and needed something that wouldn't hurt my joints but would get my heart rate going. Unfortunately the workout discs do not work. If they did, it would get a five star rating. Have tried them in my computer and in a DVD and they don't work. freezes up or don't come up at all.

I purchased the product for low impact exercise due to my 3rd back surgery, and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. It was a quality product for the price paid [...]...you can't beat it. In addition, the extras you get with it (cds and arm bands) are a great bonus. The only issue I have with the product is storage. Yes it does fold, but is still bulky making storage more space consuming than originally thought at time of purchase.

While I bought the rebounder back in 2008 it sat around for a while not being used. I had to keep it in the garage because of the nasty smell it initially emitted. I started 5 months ago to use it regularly for about 30 min a day. It helped me to get back in good shape and gain strength. It definitely is good exercises for the whole body, core stability included. But now the trampoline mat is already breaking in 3 different places and I will have to replace it which is quite expensive I found out. I really expected it to last longer than just 5 months of regular use.

We were looking for the GYM version of this trampoline; the internet ad page said that it WAS what we wanted (the heavier duty version of the Urban Rebounder). However, there is no indication from the product or the packaging that this is anything other than the original U.R. I like the way it feels and rebounds. At 71, the cross bar adds the stability I need to get started and get a sense of balance.
Also I weigh 240 lbs and I was concerned the springs would stretch and the sewing on the straps would fail. It has been very good and does appear to holding very well.

I have used this everyday for 45 minutes to 2 hours at a day for 8 days.
I have used the dvd that came with it, which is a good place to start just to get some ideas of different exercises to perform. I mostly just jog on it while listening to music or watching tv. I love it because I can exercise for longer periods of time and I am not sore at all. I also like that I don't get as winded, but am actually burning more calories than I do on a treadmill for the same amount of time. My only concern is the hooks that hold on the mat are not covered, which could cut your foot or leg if you misplaced your footing and fell through. I covered each hook using electrical tape. I have a teenage boy who may jump a little higher than me on it and I was very concerned that he could misstep and put his foot through the sides cutting himself. So I took about 45 minutes to get each hook covered.

Dad just diagnosed with colon cancer, 73. I purchased for him after reviewing many options. Setup was a breeze. The unit seemed very solid and well built. I used the product myself for two workouts while visiting. I'm 6'-4", 200lb. Bounce was good to very good. Effective, comfortable. I found the diameter a little small for my height. My Dad, 6'-2, 220lb has gotten aboard twice and worked for a few minutes each time. He's looking forward to building up strength. The best bonus was the complimentary DVD set. My son is 13 and uses this trampoline to keep in shape for soccer. It took us only a few minutes to set it up. You do need 2 people to open it, but after that, one person can finish the assembly. I would recommend this highly.

It really does provoide an awsome workout for your heart and your legs, that is what I feel the most. I have had it for about 6 weeks now, and do not use it as much as when I first purchased it. I thought it would do more for me. But it really does work the legs, all over and the cardio is wonderful. I can do the treadmill at 9% incline for 35 min and it does not effect me as much as this does in 15 min.

The setup seems intimidating at first, but it is all a matter of using strength to push the trampoline flat down and it will snap together. I am not 100% sure how to fold it back up and it seems potentially dangerous if you are doing it alone. The trampoline works fine and is sturdy (after a little over a month). Personally the hand bars that it came with are of no use to me and right now they are just taking up space, but it was a nice surprise to get free armbands since that was not advertised.
The delivery was prompt, had no problems.

I love rebounding. My sugar levels are normal since using and I have dropped over 65 #. BP , I still have issues and need medication. Did not help my cholestrol levels either, but my triglycerides dropped from 180 to 99. I just can not get my good cholestrol up from 35 to over 50. Puzzeling that one.
One draw back, three of the prong things that hold it together popped off while jumping and nearly dumped me off. I was able to keep my balance. I had used the same one for over 1.5 years so I guess time for a new one but they should warn you about that. Someone could get hurt. And the silver attachments went shooting out fast and hard, I have small grandchildren under 3, could have hit one of them.

I was very surprised by the ease of setting it up. I really was impressed by the bounce it has compared to an older one I had. It is very sturdy with just a slight wiggle. I am using it every day and have noticed the lump fluid has gone down on my legs. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to set up and take down. I'm giving it to my 2 yr old granddaughter for her birthday in a few days because she is always jumping around. I was worried the bar was too high, but I think it will be OK. I jumped on it and it seems to be very sturdy. The bar does wiggle a little, but I didn't notice it to be a problem when I was jumping. I tried to get one with bungee cords, but they have been out of stock for over a month, so I bought this one because of the good reviews. I'll update my review if it doesn't work out as well as I'm hoping. Also, she has a couple of pretty rough brothers and I think this will work out better for them, too.

I like my Urban Rebounder just had a total hip replacement and doctor said it would be okay to use. It's easier on my joints. Safety bar does not fit perfectly in the leg slots. Other than that it was easy to put together.

We ordered this trampoline as it was highly recomended in several consumer sites. The only problem is that the site states that it holds 350lbs and the manual states it hold 300lbs and it is not responsible for people over that weight to be using. The husband will have to lose 50 pounds before he is able to jump on. In the mean time I will have bouncing around.

I bought this product for my three year old son to jump on, because it seemed sturdier than the kid ones. So far so good, now granted hes only 35 lbs. so i don't think hes putting any stress on it but i'm very pleased with the sturdiness of the handlebar and the fact that the springs are covered up by the cover. The only thing i don' like is it doesnt fold up easily you have to remove the handlebar which is a pain to get back on and its hard to fold.
Delivery was fast and product arrived in fine condition. and the fact that i didn't have to pay shipping rocked!

We're just getting started,but it looks good for the whole family. The DVD's are great add-on's. My kids like their outdoor trampoline and want to jump so pushing down instead as in rebounding hasn't taken hold with them-feels structured rather than playful, but I know we'll all get a lot of use with it and it'll hold up and be able to be stored! Good value and piece of exercise equipment.

Love the product. The only drawback is that it is misleading. It doesn't come with any videos - only a CD trying to get you to buy the videos. Go on [@] and you can find tons of rebounding videos. Also, be careful overdoing it the first few times. It can be really painful for your neck and shoulders.

Bought this for my two children ages 3 and 7 - they LOVE it! BUT, the hand rail is a bit flimsy, I am afraid that it is not going to last long, we will see. The company was very prompt about getting me a part that was missing from my order, and I have had no problems with the opeartion of it at all. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a personal trampoline, even for just there kids!

Purchased primarily for my 5 year old grandson who has Cerebral Palsy and does not walk. I am satisfied with the product; but, would have liked to have the height of the balance bar adjustable. Also, some way to cover the four brackets on the outer sides as he will sometimes descend by crawling off head first. If you have suggestions to rectify this I would appreciate it. Both my grandson and I (I am 71 years old) have enjoyed using the product.

Simple and straightforward. One leg or leg socket wasn't machined quite right and was difficult to put together/take apart that leg. Can probably fix it with a little filing.

We bought this on the advice of our childrens' physical therapist and occupational therapist to provide sensory input for our two children with Sensory Processing Disorder. It is very sturdy and they love it, but the handle is very high and can not be adjusted to be made lower. Our little one has to grow into it.

We did a lot of research on which trampoline to buy and were looking at a way more expensive one - we are very happy we chose this one!
Our kids love this product. The kids do gymnastics and love jumping on it. It shakes a tad because they jump super high but the bar helps them remain stable. (Some day may be I will get a turn?!)
It only took a few minutes for my husband to setup. It smells a bit at first but the smell goes away after a few days.
This trampoline has all the features that we would want and the snap in place legs are great!! (Nothing to unscrew tideously - very quick)
Delivery was very quick and it arrived in good condition.
The agent who took our order was very professional.

I use it now just to get myself moving. I will work up to some of the dvd routines. It is nice and sturdy, so for larger bodies you feel secure on it.
Wish it would fold up easier for storage and maybe be a bit larger in the circumference. Not sure if trampolines should be larger or this is standard size for a reason?

The urban rebounder was delivered quickly and was easy to unfold and set up. My kids love it! They have used it everyday since we received it. My son, who is 6 and has to strengthen his trunk and core, can't get enough of this jumper. It helps with all the extra energy that my kids have, especially when they can't go outside because of inclement weather.
I have jumped on it a bit, but can't wait to get into a routine and start getting strong and lose some weight. The videos look great too.
The bar is a little shakey, but it was described as being that way. It is not supposed to be held onto really, just for balance. The kids love to hold on as they jump and it is great for that purpose though. It is added safety in a sense.

I read all the reviews and decided to order this trampoline for my children to use to burn off all that extra energy duing the winter when they can't go outside everyday. [...] had to hide it for a few weeks until christmas. The kids found it under the tree today and they spent the whole day taking turns jumping on it. We were worried that the springs would be too tight and our two year old wouldn't be able to jump very well on it right away but he had no problem and was jumping as well as our five year old.
